Hello everyone today I’m gonna share amazing mouth watering recipe of instant mango pickle.
If you like spicy pickles 🌶 I’m very sure you will love this pickle. It’s very famous in south India and is known by the name of mango thokku over there. Very authentic South Indian dish very very tasty I guarantee. You can either use it as pickle or mix it with plain rice as well the flavours in it are amazing.
- 1 big raw mango (preferably Bangalore mango if you have)
- 4 table spoon chilli powder
- 4 table spoon salt
- 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 1-2 cups oil
- half spoon cumin (jeera)
- 2 teaspoon black peppers
- 5-6 dry red chillies 🌶
- 1 full teaspoon asafoetida powder(hing)
Grate the mango and add chilli powder, salt,turmeric powder to it and keep it aside.
Take a pan (Kadhai) put oil, when it starts to boil add cumin seeds,pepper,red chilli,asafoetida.
When it start to splutter add grated mango mixture to oil for 2-5 minutes.
let it cool and then fill it in a bottle.
